So, I filled out the application and sent it in. This was in late December.
To my pleasant surprise, I just received a nice acknowledgement from the province for having registered and, along with that, received a pretty nice satellite photo of my property, showing the boundary lines in relation to the roughly square mile around me.
Nice touch!
