I'm a small scale sheep farmer in Kelowna and have a longstanding interest in preserving the small family farm. For a few years I had an acre in blueberries but found it too hard to keep the grass and weeds down organically and last year turned the sheep into the blueberry field which is excellent pasture. At one time I was certified organic but now find that growing according to organic principles is good enough for my lamb customers and less expensive for me.

I have an agricultural background since my teen years on when my family bought a small hobby farm in Kelowna. Farming is my passion and producing local healthy food in a sustainable way is my mission.

Border Colllies are the reason I ended up with sheep and now they are both an essential part of my life.

I look forward to this forum becoming a place to connect with others who share the farming lifestyle.
